I’ve been writing songs my whole life. When my mom said we were moving from our home in South Mississippi to North Alabama, my first thought was I was going to be closer to Nashville — the center of the songwriting universe — and I wanted to see what it was all about.  I found a writer’s workshop and at 14 convinced my mom to drive me to Nashville once a week for 3 months to join the workshop. This is where I met Mike Doyle of Bob Doyle and Assoc. (Garth Brooks). 

After college I went on to sign my first management deal with BD&A in 2019. That same year, I began my MAYLYN project that has garnered 15 million streams to date. I began writing for film and television with placements in Selling Sunset, The Resident (2), The Challenge: All Stars, and Joe Millionaire and have written for Fox and Viacom writers camps. In addition, I have released collaborations with other artists including ATTLAS, HEYZ, and Martin Jensen.

This new collection of songs represents the direction I am taking the project next. I created this EP with Scot Stewart, a producer I’ve worked with for several years. These songs are a combination of his quirky and unique production with my melodies and lyrics. I wanted to make something that was authentic and unique to me.
